Relaxing in South Ballina -
What a hoot!
- Our camping trip to South Ballina was a huge success. Great company, lots of belly laughs and our furry friends had a ball.

The park provided us with entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights and a band for Sunday afternoon. One of their guests joined us on Sunday night with guitar in hand to further entertain the group.

Some of us even tried our hand at fishing. This time the fish won. None in the bag. We were a diverse group when it came to accommodation. Tents, caravans, camper vans and units.

This has been an annual event in the past. Due to the success and great fun of the event I am sure
we will be holding more camping trips during the year.

We have been asked to advertise the following event. This is not a gay venue nor is it a CCs organized event

A Gala variety Concert will be held to Celebrate International Women’s Day. The grand finale will be a massed choir of Gold Coast women. Tickets $20 Adults $15 Child

PICNIC AT CUDGEN CREEK KINGSCLIFF
You guessed it it’s ST PATRICKS DAY. Don your green garb bring your own food and drinks and join us for fun and laughter guaranteed to even outdo the Irish. This is a pet friendly park so bring your furry
little people. The picnic will start when you get there, say around 12noon NSW time. Need directions email Coast Connections
and we will give detailed directions.

Are you free to lead the group on the day? If so, please we need you to step up and help organize this event.

Another one of our favourite spots.
Lets meet near the surf life saving club at 11.30am. Bring your own or avail yourself of the many take-away restaurants in the area. Furry friends are welcome but must be leashed at all times.

If we strike inclement weather we will move our little butts over to one of the many eating establishments in Burleigh.

This day is a way for all we like-minded people to come together as one and celebrate who we are.

THE BIG EVENT FOR MAY
COAST CONNECTIONS FIRST AGM

Time to elect Coast Connections Committee
for the next twelve months.
Some committee members will be standing for re election with other positions open for new volunteers.
This is your club and if we are to continue into the future we need your support.
The AGM is the place to have your say on how you would like your club to run over the next twelve months and whom you would like to run it.
Without your attendance, support and say, our club will not survive. What a great pity that would be.

After saying all that we have not set a date or venue for the AGM as we would like you to tell us when you are available to attend the meeting to ensure maximum attendance.
We also need a venue, so please your thoughts and ideas on this as well will make for a successful meeting.
